Hmmm... I think the sub hunting has potential but needs to be better organised 😅😂

The idea I had in my head was the sub had its AA and guided missiles, it would surface to launch them which gives time for aircraft / boats to react and converge on the location before the sub disappears again. I think a fully-crewed sub would work better as you can get the periscope missiles and both guided missiles working at once to better counter aircraft.

Definitely!

I realised I had a ton of arena vehicles I literally never use, so I sold 3 or 4 and now I have a sub too 😂

It's quite fun baiting the broomstick brigade on their Oppressor MkIIs out far to sea and then just submerging and popping up further down the coast 😂

@Aslad I should come online in a bit. Think I'll do some preps, not sure. Heard there's a few you can basically do without getting out of your yacht at all.

So.... Feeling enthusiastic tonight, I thought I’d try the Heist in solo, got on about 8:30. Went to the Casino, bought the Submarine.

Flew out to the submarine, met the Russian, started the heist!

The all of a sudden the heist planning board is not accessible, spend ages going in and out of the sub, checking the map... WTF. Called Bing for help, apparently I can’t do the heist as some other event is running, we can’t figure out what it is to cancel it.

Leave session, find new session and heist is now available again. Start heist, from submarine in the middle of the ducking sea, start to swim to shore, realise it has gone 9:30 so I have spent an hour doing sod all and I’m 3 million down for the pleasure.

Rage quit.

You don't get the heist planning board to start with iirc.

Start it, then go to LSIA and you'll be taken to the island (well at least once the 13hour cut scene finishes) to do the scoping out.

Then once you've done that and go back to Los Santos you will have the heist board etc. 

At least I think that's what occurred for me.

This is what was supposed to happen, it told me to go to the heist board and click x to start. However when I went to the heist board no interactions worked (left on dpad or pressing x). 
 

I called Bing in, he went through all my options and said something else is running so I can’t access the heist board. However we couldn’t figure what was running that wouldn’t let me access the heist board or retire from my CEO. The heist hadn’t started as there were no icons near LSIA, I even flew there to check.

Left the sessions, rejoined and bingo it was all working.

Anyway tried the heist later, made my way to the compound on the island... then a cut scene started to explain the next part of the mission. After the cut scene I was back near the party gates again when I was only 100 yards from the objective before. So I thought sod it, I’m swimming there, only to find there is an invisible barrier around 90% of the island after an hour of swimming.

At this point I smashed up my TV and murdered my family before going to bed crying in the fetal position.

@Mark Verstappen that timeline could make sense, just a pain having to wait for it especially if the only thing you were looking forward to was exploring the new island.

Submarine hunt does have some possibilities though.

Missed that beautiful picture totally @JuniorChubb! Utrecht is looking lovely in every season, except in this horrible season then 😅

I do miss that town, just like my birth-town but I must admit to feel pretty blessed to be in this house now in this mad year instead of the little appartement in Utrecht, I would've lost it already probably if I was still living there.
