If people want to hang fire on spending cash on anything they've added chuck me a message when you get online and we can party up for a look at the heist. Would've liked some but glad we have a Beetle and Fiat 500. Hope they'll drive well. The Improved Stromburg is really that, a way better looking, HQ model, boost and 4 doors. What I don't get - why didn't they make it so you fly out to the edge of a certain part of the map, put in a loading screen animation with you flying or sailing off into the distance, and then load the island in that way? As you suggest, or maybe a ‘loading tunnel’ that you drive through to get there (game loads as you drive through the tunnel, maybe even in a train to ensure consistency, or another option was airplane flight that is just basically a cut scene whilst the island loads. I am still holding out hope that it’s fully accessible on PS5 when the official PS5 version is launched. Mark Verstappen 392 Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) The 'standalone' GTA Online for next gen is gonna be free, but only for the first 3 months or however long it was. If you're on GTA Online on PS5 now you're just playing the PS4 version with PS4 people. Doubt the island is not accessible due to console limitations as I can just go to the beach party and invite you lot even if you havent done the heist it seems as well as do the scope out prep in free-roam. I wouldn't be surprised if in a year or so we'll have another heist here to take over the whole island for Madrazo or something like that as with the current story they made it wouldnt really make much sense. El rubio however is apparently very paranoid after the heist but didnt flee the island. So in theory we could have free-roam acces in a future DLC, but currently its probably to stretch the story for R* making them have to do less to pump out more content like make another heist location as they sort of did with the Casino. It could be like the Casino. First we have the first DLC about it, and then in another update we do something different in the same place.
