Self isolating, no internet... what do you play?

After @Squirrel mentioned the strain on ISP’s with a lot of the world choosing to stay at home right now I quickly thought to my games collection and what I could play off line whilst itself isolating if we did start to see connections go wayward.
For me I would probably go back toe Breathe of the Wild on my Wii U. I never finished it due to online gaming commitments and would happily boot this up again.

How do you grind for cash?

I've never really been a money grinder in GTA, I can't just grind away in this anymore. But if I feel the need and I know it isn't the most profitable but it is the most fun for me is to do the hanger jobs and of course the bunker as it is easy to buy supplies and deliver when full.

Update: E3 2020 Officially Canceled

The ESA has officially canceled E3, and is currently looking at putting together an online version of the show in June.
Here is the organization's official statement:
After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020, scheduled for June 9-11 in Los Angeles.
Following increased and overwhelming concerns about the COVID-19 virus, we felt this was the best way to proceed during such an unprecedented global situation. We are very disappointed that we are unable to hold this event for our fans and supporters. But we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today.
Our team will be reaching out directly to exhibitors and attendees with information about providing full refunds.
We are also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to showcase industry announcements and news in June 2020. Updates will be shared on E3expo.com.
We thank everyone who shared their views on reimagining E3 this year. We look forward to bringing you E3 2021 as a reimagined event that brings fans, media and the industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry.

Ars Technica is reporting through multiple sources that the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) will cancel this year's E3 trade show in Los Angeles.
The website was informed last night, and shortly after Ars was tipped off publisher Devolver tweeted: "Cancel your E3 Flights and hotels, y'all."
Later, Bloomberg ran a story that included that the official cancelation announcement from the ESA will happen today, March 11, at 9:30 a.m. Pacific according to "a person familiar with the matter."
Bloomberg is further reporting that the ESA has sent a private memo to partners that says it is considering holding E3 as an online event this summer.
If E3 is indeed canceled, it would be the latest domino to fall in a chain of events created by the coronavirus that has caused game delays, companies sending workers home, and the postponement of GDC from this month, among other disruptions.

Time Trials 2019 - Round 11 - Zancudo River Run

Something else a little bit different for this round. A mixture of road, track, dirt and a splash of water in Zancudo River Run. This track is a little longer than usual and locked to the Flash GT to make the most of it Off Road ability. The track is another one of JuniorChubbs, so again, all complaints can be directed to him.

MotoGP Race Night

Come and join us on Wednesday 27th November at 20:00 GMT for our MotoGP Race Night. The Van Society are hosting another night of racing using the best GTA Real Life Tracks from FR_Player-One's Real Life Tracks thread and the best from elsewhere on Social Club, this time round we will be racing bikes.
We will be running a team format, we will all be racing on the Bati 801 RR and there are 4 different liveries available for this bike. When you sign up you must select a team to race for. The available teams are Sprunk, Redwood, Stronzo and Cerveza Barracho, your livery on the night must match your team choice.
Racers are also expected to look the part too, either racing outfits or something that resembles racing leathers. all riders must have helmets enabled too.
After meeting up in free roam the first race of the night will be on the Top Gear Test Track, this will be as a test race so we can all make sure we have the correct bike, livery and outfits available and to check we all know how the grid system will work (each team will take it in turns to be at the front of the grid). This race will have no bearing on the final results.
From here we will race a number of User Created Jobs all based on real world circuits. We will start the night racing 'contact' but if poor racing etiquette is displayed, or if people start b*tching we will switch to non-contact or kick offending drivers.
We expect clean racing on the night (this is not a 'GTA Race' free for all) we all appreciate the tracks created and want to race around them, not play bumper cars. If you like to spin people out, try and squeeze two bikes into a corner that can only fit one or use other bikes as braking barriers do not sign up.
Also, there will also be no wheelies during the racing too. We are not looking for a race night where the first person to crack a wheelie after each corner wins the night.

The next Survive the Hunt Night will be taking place on Saturday 23rd November 2019 at 21:00 GMT/UTC on PS4.
We will be running a 70's Cop Show theme...
Hunters
Hunters to wear brown/tan suits and moustaches (for male characters) and the most 70s hairstyle for female characters.
Hunters are to drive a fully modded 60s - 70s muscle car, here are the top 5 according to Broughy that are suitable for the night...
1. Sabre Turbo Custom - 01:06.866 lap time - 121.25 mph top speed - $505 000
2. Impaler - 1:08.436 lap time - 115.5 mph top speed - $331 835
3. Blade - 1:09.269 lap time - 109.75mph top speed - $160 000
4. Tulip - 1:09.572 lap time - 112.75mph top speed - $718 000
5. Dukes - 1:09.636 lap time - 112.5 mph top speed - $62 000 or FREE if you played on PS3
Paint the cars dark blue.
If we can't catch the hunted/have less than 10 hunters in the session, we may switch to the Armoured Schafter V12 or Armoured Kuruma again.

Target to wear overalls and a balaclava. We need the target to be somewhat noticeable, so I suggest a red jumpsuit and yellow balaclava to be more easy to spot. Target to start in a van, but can change to any car at any point after setting off.

This tournament will pit racers against each other in a 1v1 scenario racing in GTA Online.
The tournament will be set up in a 1v1 Elimination style . Any number can participate but time is running out so get involved ASAP!

Karin Kuruma Cup - CANCELLED

This could be a bit chaotic but hey we're going to give it a go anyway.
Event format will be a mixture of regular racing where we will just race as normal, a structured rally cross event (actually running heats, then finals etc.) and a mini rally. The usual racing rules will apply, see the pinned thread in this section for clarity if you are unsure.
The car used must be the regular Karin Kuruma, not the armoured version.

Time Trials 2019 - Round 05 - Joshua Road West

Switching to some Rallycross for this round, we could have had something nice and stable like the Tropos but there is no challenge in getting that around quickly. So we shall run with the Kuruma instead, the track is very simple but has some fairly brutal bumps that will need to be tamed in the Kuruma, which lets face it is extremely easy to flip.
The fully modified Karin Kuruma is the only vehicle allowed for this round.

GTA V Race Club News and Updates Thread

Greetings, this is the spot to discuss Race Club events.
The first rule of Race Club is that you do not talk about Race Club.
The second rule of Race Club is, actually you should probably ignore rule 1 or no one will join.
Like the Time Trials for various reasons, I ended up not running these during 2018 (my total event count was 3 or 4 including VANS events down from 50 or so per year previously).
Race Club events will dovetail with the Time Trials to hopefully give added value should you need to buy a car for the Time Trials, hopefully, you should end up in profit.
This will mostly be one-off events, however, I do have intentions for some ongoing championships which will take place over a number of weeks.
The focus is on contact racing with clean driving expected and enforced. With lag, over-exuberance and drivers sometimes not being used to each other (i.e. anyone who has raced with me regularly knows to expect I will be sideways where I shouldn't) accidents will happen but we'd like to keep them to a minimum. Repeat offenders will ultimately end up kicked or not invited in future.
I shall post a basic rules list as a pinned thread, unless it is otherwise stated in an event thread it is assumed that those rules will apply.
