The First Look At The PlayStation 5

Sony hasn't revealed the price or release date of the PlayStation 5, but it did give us the first look at the console itself.
The system is sandwiched between two curving outer blades that serve as an open shell of sorts. The videos repeatedly showed the PS5 in the vertical position, with a stand, although there was a brief glimpse of the console on its side. In this "flat" configuration, the stand looks like it sits under the unit like a puck.
A digital edition without a disc drive was also shown (along with a host of official first-party accessories), but again, we don't know what anything costs just yet.

Each crew list 10 jobs, the other crew pick 5. So 10 races in total.
Non-contact and we start at 30 sec to give everyone time to drive up to the host/starting line.
Points: in game, if one crew lose a racer we only count top 14 for both and so on..
No curb boosting.

This is 2 player team time trial on a track of Lann's suggested by Skorp. It's in custom supercars, you and your teammate must use different models. You'll notice a couple of the faster newer ones are not available but I think there is more than enough that are. As usual sign up now and we'll draw semi-random teams later. Recent winning pairs will be excluded, (Skorp & Dodge CC 209, DJ & JJ CC207, Proto & Rammstein CC205)

Races will always be contact and mostly no catch up, but slipstream will depend on the track. Tracks with a pit lane may include a mandatory pit stop, but will likely depend on if it's 2x 15 minute races or 1x 30 minute race.
Combat jobs will be a mix of forced weapons, and owned weapons without explosives unless otherwise stated, depending on the job.
I'll include an adversary mode or two as well.
Job requests/suggestions are always welcome.

Max Manus: Man of War [RSC Film Club 17]

War was the theme for May's film club, with the winning film being Max Manus: Man of War nominated by @Lann. Max Manus is a Norwegian biographical film detailing the exploits of resistance fighter and saboteur, Max Manus and is based on books that he wrote himself.
It was directed by Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, who directed Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell no Tales and stars Aksel Hennie as Manus. The film is one of the biggest recent hits of Norwegian cinema, winning a record seven Amanda awards (the Norwegian Oscars) in 2009 at the Norwegian International Film Festival.
I've not seen, nor heard of this film before, so can't say much else, but you can't really go wrong with resistance fighters kicking n*zi *ss. It will also be interesting to see some history of a country that doesn't get mentioned much when WW2 films are made.

Hello All....
Though I'd share my hobby with you all, as some of you may find it interesting.
A few months ago I found my old collection of Matchbox cars from when I was a lad, around 25 years ago. Most of which were play worn and missing any bits of paint. After watching a few guys on youtube, I set about restoring some. After the varying success of my efforts, I bvranched out into buying knackered cars and restoring them as a little weekend hobby.
Then after a bit of shopping with my son, I purchased a few Hot wheels cars, and now my son and I collect Hot Wheels together. We don;t want full sets, but we just buy what we like. Which makes today a special day, as it's 'Hot Wheels Friday'.

It's time for another bicycle race challenge. This one is single player and rather than hot lapping it's the the fastest time for a 1 lap race. Doing multiple laps might be a bit much.
Use any bicycle you like. Non-contact if racing with others. Any time of day. Any weather. Make as many attempts as you like

Special Rules for Event:
In Red Dead Online we will host private poker games. Lime will host a table of 4-6 players and I will host a table of 4-6 players (we could have three tables if there is enough interest). Each table everyone starts with $5.00 as the game allows and then there is one hour of game play. The top 2 or 3 winners from that table during that hour will move on to the final table to be played that day or possibly the following week. At the final table the remaining players play for one hour and the player with the most chips at the end is crowned the 1st Red Dead Poker Champion.
Special Rules for Event:

With a dash of luck, we will all learn some wonderfully interesting things and have some titanic debates about the natural, the mechanical, the political, the sociological, and the philosophic!
