RSC Euro 2020 (Fantasy Football)

Yes, it's that fecking time again!
The postponed Euro 2020 tournament kicks off on June 11th, so you have just under 4 weeks to join and prepare your team.
This will be our 4th league. Following on from the success of Euro 2016, World Cup 2018 and Women's World Cup 2019.
The tournament winner will receive some PSN stuff (Subscription or credit, depending on your country).
It's just a bit of fun and something for the forum members to participate in during the tournament. Everyone is welcome and no football knowledge is required

With the start of summer and the beginning of the European Football Championships, this month's film club is all about the sporting life. The winning film, nominated by @Con, is Darren Aronofsky's 2008 drama The Wrestler, starring Micky Rourke and Marisa Tomei.
The film follows Rourke as Randy "The Ram" Robinson, a wrestler who was big in the 80s but is now well past his prime working small shows on the independent circuit as well as a part time job in a supermarket. He struggles with addiction, injuries and rocky relationships with his estranged daughter Stephanie (Evan Rachel Wood) and stripper with a heart of gold Cassidy (Tomei).
This is a superb film from a very talented director, whose other works include Requiem for a Dream and Black Swan, with a career best performance from Micky Rourke. This is also one of the few films to treat the sport of pro wrestling with any kind of respect, even love at times, and is full of familiar faces to any fan of the sport. It's been a good decade since I've seen this, but I only remember loving it so can't wait to elbow drop back in.

This is a solo time trial on a point to point track made just for the challenge.

Don't move at the start, get out of your car and wait for weapons to be enabled
Shoot a shot gun round into each of your tyres to blow them
Then get in your car and complete the race
Weather is set to rain
Only car available should be a stock Voodoo
No re-spawns allowed
You can do this with others if you like, but given it has to be in GTA mode you're probably best doing it solo
Starts now
End 19:00 UK time 28th June

Spinn the wheel - a creators event.

A idea for a potential creators event.
To participate you will spinn the wheel (link) 3 times. Each spinn will assign you a features of your creation:
First spinn will give you the job type.
Second spinn will give you the location.
Third spinn will give you a weapons and car, to use either or both exclusively in your job.
Each wheel only hold 16 options and once one is selected it will automatically be removed from the wheel. So if your the 16th person to spinn you end up with whats left.
We allow 1 month to work on the jobs, and will try to use all props, and build to hold 30 players. We could try and host testing sessions during that month.
Any interest to join such thing?
Any feedback or ideas to implement?

Sunday Evening Endurance Racing

Gooooood day good peoples of RSC.
Whilst Big Z's SRL is off for the summer why not try popping in for a night of endurance racing (not too endurancey, though) this Sunday 13th June at 9pm UK.
3 races.
3 classes.
This week will be Coupes, Muscles, and finishing off with Sports Classics.
Tier drop. The top third will drop 1 tier, the middle will stay as is, and the bottom tier will go up 1. So please try and have at least one car from the top 3 tiers according to the god of GTA cars Broughy.
The races will take approx. 30 minutes each and 1 pit stop must be made in each race. No pits for the first 3 laps and no pitting on the last lap.
It would be quite lovely if drivers were courteous and didn't brake or kerb boost.
Everyone from XDBX and VANS welcome and all the other crews.

Time for a parachuting challenge.
Solo
Two jumps each
Add up scores and your combined time will be used for a tie break if required.
If you do this with other people then we will deduct any points you get for finishing 1st (15), 2nd (10) or 3rd (5) so that they are comparble with people doing it solo.
These points are based on times not scores.
It would be simplest if everyone posts a screenshot please, to avoid confusion.
The Jumps, R* obviously, are Airstrip and The Cove.

The Interview [RSC Film Club 30]

This month's film club is all about controversy, films that got people riled up for whatever reason. The winning film was nominated by @Beezand is the 2014 comedy The Interview, directed by Seth Rogen and and Evan Goldberg.
The film stars James Franco and Seth Rogen as a talk show host and his producer who manage to arrange an interview with Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un (Randall Park). When the CIA learn of this, they recruit the two to assassinate him. You can probably see where the controversy comes from here. A few months before it was released North Korea threatened action against the USA if it were to be. This led Sony to heavily edit the film, and release it online instead of in theatres, of which it only got a limited run. Sony were also hacked by a group called the Guardians of Peace, who the FBI traced to North Korea, and they threatened terrorist attacks against any cinema showing the film. All of this over a stoner comedy full of d*ck and fart jokes.
In the end, nothing really happened, and this film seems to have fallen through the cracks of the collective pop culture memory. When I watched it a few years ago I remember really liking it, especially Park as Kim Jong-un, and the hilarious cameo by a famous rapper. I preferred Rogen and Goldberg's previous film, the apocalyptic meta-comedy This Is The End, but I'm still looking forward to revisiting this.

Come and join us on Wednesday the 12th of May at 20:00 UK Time for Helmut's European Autos B Classic! Just turn up to the parking lot of Pleasure Pier in your favorite eligable Classic you sign up with.
We will determine who has the best car before we start a playlist to determine the winner of Helmut's European Autos B Classic!
We will race the Pigalle, Retinue, Savestra, Viseris, Z-Type & Zion Classic against each other. You stay the whole night with the car you choose so choose wisely. These cars should be all about the same pace with their own strengths.
Don't worry if you don't own any of the eligible cars, we can spawn some cars in for you where needed.
Post below with the vehicle you plan to bring along to get involved! Pick whichever you want but a balanced field would be nice.

Come and join us on Wednesday 5th of May at 20:00 UK Time for Your Machine Hidden! Just turn up to the parking lot of the str*p Mall in Harmony in a random NPC or Pegasus car.
Instead of determining of who has the best car before we start a playlist everyone who signs up has to hide their car in Los Santos which we have to find as we do in Mystery Car. This means that you get to shout clues of the location/car instead of me.
For this event everyone picks a raceable car they want us to race in and picks a general area to search in so each car wont take as long as my searches and we shouldn't be able to accidentally find other peoples cars before we start looking for them.
Sign up with the general area you like to hide your car but do not tell us the car in advance! An Area is something like Downtown, Vespucci/Del Perro & Vinewood/Pillbox Hill. For this one to make the areas slightly bigger you can also pick the Vinewood hills as an area which we usually omit.
Pick whichever vehicle you think people should get a taste of! We will do all races as one makes so you might have to spawn some copies of your vehicle. We are not tied to a 100k budget like usually with Mystery Car but you can still pick one if you like.
I will invite everyone who signs up in a random order to give a little bit of time for everyone to hide their car. This inviting might start slightly before 8 PM UK time depending on who I see online.
