Like are they going to explore how or why the demon attaches itself to the family? But that was done in a way in the fantastic, Hereditary (2018), were the origin of evil is explored. so I’m curious from writers standpoint. LimeGreenLegend 4,175 Posted August 1, 2021 Author Share Posted August 1, 2021 Whatever they do they need to be original and not just do a shot for shot remake like Gus Van Sant's Psycho remake, which is awful despite being pretty much the exact same film as Hitchcock's original. I have some faith though, not all remakes are automatically bad. The 80s versions of The Thing and The Fly were both remakes, and the late 90s The Mummy is fantastic, despite switching genres from horror to adventure. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

So the easy one would be Animal House but I’m going to go with Taps, a movie I remember liking in my youth. It starred Mattew Modine and a young Tom Cruise.
