Have you taken an hour or so to really just explore the GTAO map? I mean just walking around and keeping an eye for all the details R* has placed. All the little towns, districts, cultural territories are amazing to see in such a large map. There's so much to enjoy just exploring the map. The architecture of all the buildings, the transitions between different environments. Taking a drive from South Los Santos to Paletto Bay you don't feel like one environment just stops at a line and the next one begins, they have created a true geography. Finishing up single player trophies, etc. for ps4. I finished up the main story and in the process naturally completed some of the side mission like stunt jumps, knife flights, etc. just with standard play. So I decide to do all knife flights and under the bridges yesterday and started the bridge locations 1-50 even though I had 10 or 11 already done, they just don't register if you've already done them. I'm stuck on the dreaded 49/50 after doing them all. I can't think of anyway to find the lost one or anyway to efficiently come up with a solution without going through them all and hopefully it randomly pops up. Hi Guys, The PC release date has just been announced as the 28th of March. Are there going to be enough people from the crew interested in extending their play to the PC and if so would the crew forum be extended to cover play on that system? Graphically I'm expecting a massive improvement, the system specs already show that there will be 4K support as well as multi-screen options. PS4 & Xbox One are based on a 32 bit system while the PC version will be using 64 bit so there will be a huge increase in the amount of action possible on screen. What T/DM weapon settings do you prefer and why? I would like to hear people's thoughts on both owned weapons vs forced and pickups. Before this crew, I never played deathmatches. Firstly I wasn't really any good, and also being a low rank I couldn't compete anyway with owned weapons. Even after I leveled up I was happy enough in free roam (don't know how now) so I never got into it. After joining the crew and only playing forced tdms, I have gotten a lot better and really enjoy it. Its no surpirse that the majority of players like to play with owned weapons. I was thinking today it would be nice to not have to worry about cops messing about sometimes in freeroam. I know you can buy some time to turn a blind eye, but I think that having a feature to have closed sessions with wanted levels off would be nice. I know it would take away from the GTA feel, but if R* only offered it for closed sessions I think it would be a nice thing to have available. What do you think?

No Suppressor When Firing Guns From a Vehicle

Anyone know what the deal with this is? All of my guns have suppressors, yet the small arms when fired from a vehicle have no suppressors. Is it possible that I've bought suppressors only for them to be disabled in a vehicle, or is there something that I've missed?

What do people think about jobs that are locked by the host to first person? My own thoughts are that I dislike being forced to play the game in a certain mode. One of the main attractions of GTA to me is its third person view as I find even a short period of playing first person leaves me feeling kind of queezy. Because of this I have kind of stopped doing PS4 playlists as I never know when a first person locked job may pop up. I was wondering if it would be possible to at least put a note on the event topic so it's not a surprise if there is a FPV job there.

I thought about this last night. I heard someone was looking for a specific car to add to thier garage. I happen to spot one. So I grabbed it, called the member and they joined my free roam session to collect it. Sounds like craigslist for cars, right? For those of you lucky (unlucky?) enough to have a partner (and family for that matter), how do you go keeping them happy and still getting to play your game so much? For me, it tends to be a rather constant battle on play time vs spending time with her which ocassionly ends in an argument. Am I unkucky or is this a common thing? I have thought it may be cool to have a partner who also games, but this could lead to fights over who gets to play So, a few questions for those that it applies too; How is it having a partner to game with? I've got the 1st page done and I'm going to be expanding on the story as and when ideas come to my head but if anyone is interested in helping out with the creation of the images let me know and will see what I can do. I'm sure some of you have encountered this bs. I've also noticed it only happens with certain friends. You go to the friend tab and try to invite them to your session and it says "friend invites are disabled till you both have completed the online tutorial" . I'm a level 120 , i vaguely remember doing it till i got to the LTS tute and quit. But since the xmas update this has been stopping me from sending invites to specific friends. Not sure how long this has been here in PS4 (and not sure if it's available on PS3, since I haven't signed in yet), but on PS4 when you press Options >> Stats, there are new stats available. You can see your individual stats for all of your weapons, goals to unlock your awards, and and unlocks will show your progress throughout GTA Online, such as how many races, TDM's, Missions, etc you've played. You guys should check it out if you haven't noticed it yet. My apologies if this has been there for awhile.

Stopped in to los Santos customs down town yesterday to get a little paint on my ratrod. The mechanic did a swell job on the drivers side ! Check it out!! The Super Boost!

I noticed during a race last night how much the super boost actually helps, and it appears that there may be members of the crew that don't know how it's done. I was able to go from 6th to 1st from the launch using the super boost. I think everyone knows how the normal boost works; jam the accelerator when "Go!" pops up. This is definitely superior to a normal start, but there is a better way. If you hold the accelerator to full before the countdown starts, then during the countdown as the "1" begins to fade you quickly release the accelerator only to immediately reapply to full you get a SUPER boost! 249Rate the Last Film you Watched 2: Electric Boogaloo
Operation Mincemeat (2021) dir John Madden A WWII film focussing the efforts of British intelligence to trick Germany into thinking an upcoming major operation was going to happen somewhere else, so that they diverted defending forces away from the actual location. The basics are a true story. The characters are mainly the real people who were involved. It has a great ensemble cast. The main characters are two officers working for MI5, one from the navy and one from the air force, played by Colin Firth and Matthew McFadden, with Kelly MacDonald and Penelope Wilton playing their civilian assistants. It also features Johnny Flynn as the young Lt. Ian Fleming who narrates some scenes in a style that could well have been passages from his James Bond novels. You could, at a big stretch, almost class this as Bond film since it features characters referred to as M (head of MI5, Jason Issacs) and Q-branch (the gadget inventor, James Fleet). Simon Russel Beale also puts in a great performance as Winston Churchill. I have heard of Operation Mincemeat, knew the basics of it, that Ian Fleming was involved and what the outcome was. I don't think it's a spoiler to say the plan worked, as various characters in the film say that if it doesn't the allies won't win the war. The plan was to take the body of recently deceased man, a Welshman living rough in London called Glyndwr Michael, dress him in an officer's uniform, attach a brief case containing fake, but apparently top-secret documents, and then release it from a submarine such that it would wash up on a Spanish beach. Spain was neutral in WWII but under the regime of the Fascist, pro-n*zi, General Franco. So British intelligence knew that the contents of the brief case should find their way into the hands of German agents, before being returned to Britain, and thus the fake information would find it's way to Berlin. The operation they were planning for was the allied invasion of Italy, then Germany's ally. The fake information was one part of bigger plan to convince the Germans it was occupied Greece that was going to be invaded. The subsequent invasion of Italy is one of the lesser known parts of the war. Much is made, quite rightly, of the D-day landings, but that was not the first invasion of German controlled Europe, it was this invasion of Italy, nearly a year earlier. So it's nice to see a film about this aspect of the war, because there aren't very many of them. The film shows the meticulous level of detail the agents went to, creating a whole fake identity, Major William Martin, along with personal letters, a photo of a fiancé, etc. The plot does come across somewhat unbelievable at times and includes a completely unnecessary romantic sub-plot. Even if some of that is what actually happened, the way the films portrays this comes across as if the producers wanted to “s*x it up” and add these elements in because they thought the story of the planning and execution of the operation was not interesting enough. I was all set to give this a lower score than I did, but the last 30 mins or so redeemed it a little. What I found really interesting was, after the the plan had been put into action, the role British diplomats in Spain then had to play to make sure that the brief case of fake documents did indeed end up in German hands. Because after all the detailed and careful planning, it could have easily been undone by a Spanish official simply handing the brief case straight back to Britain, as was technically the correct thing for a neutral country to do, but not what they were supposed to do according to the pro-German Fascist regime in charge. There's almost none of the action you usually get in war films, until right at the end when we see an American infantry sergeant, a minor character introduced earlier, on board a landing craft, storming a Sicilian beach which was taken and held with relatively light causalities. All due to the success of Operation Mincemeat diverting German forces hundreds of miles away. 6 / 10- 2
