[GT6] Casual Sunday Racing

Recommended Posts

Don't forget, today after the F1 championship, we'll take a short break for food/drinks/smokes/toilet... and then we'll meet in a GT6 lobby for some proper sim racing. All casual, just for fun. I hope you have your cars all ready to go too.

I'll have the room open 15-20min after F1.

Great racing today. I'll try to limit my lap 1 mistakes so I can challenge for some wins.

Looking good Z. The Clio is definitely bright enough!

I'm pleased the Lotus is causing you problems. I hope it will be as frustrating as your 2nd race yesterday :D

I think the three jobs I'm hosting will last approximately 1 hour:

Cape Ring North [Clio]

Practice: ~10 mins

Race: 4 laps ~8 mins

Ascari full track [Lotus Carlton]

Practice: Limited to 10 mins

Race: 3 laps ~9 mins

Suzuka Circuit [impreza / Evo]

Practice: Will cancel as soon as everyone has chosen their car and gone to track

Qualifying: Limited to 9 mins

Race: 4 laps ~9 mins

I hope to start practice 15 mins after SRL. I'll open a lobby as quickly as I can.

If neither of you can make it I'll postpone it until next week. Just let me know for certain tomorrow.

How should I message handcuff Charlie and the other guy? PSN?

I'm going to postpone my three tracks until next week due to absence. As people have already purchased cars I think it's only fair. Also Fido will be available to give Handcuff some competition!

I'd still like to play this evening (after SRL) so will open a team lobby and we can just run some casual tracks using any cars within certain PP ranges. I'll make another post here when I've opened the lobby. I suspect it will be around 7PM GMT.

Details of next week's races here.

FYI there's an update for GT6. Took me around 10 mins to download and install.

I'll open a lobby immediately after SRL - see you there.

Yes, the cars and tracks planned for last week.

I'll start the timer when Fido has joined the lobby (10 mins practice)

That was my first time playing GT6 online and it was really great.

Always good racing with you guys.

I won't be there next week unfortunately (this sunday was quite exceptionnal for me gametime wise :D)

How many of us would be interested in some GT6 racing tomorrow? We should be able to start around 8:15-8:30 PM GMT. At least 4 of us would be good, otherwise let's skip this week.

Anyone wanna take over hosting duties?

Otherwise, I'm gonna host an oldies session.

I'll pick a stock car for 1-2 races (will pick the tracks myself), then we can do some more in a 500-550 car voting for the tracks on the spot.

Let's say any car limited to 500 PP with racing hard tires and back from 1950-1970 (so 50's and 60's cars). You can go american, european or even japanese. You probably already own at least one of these anyway. :)
