Grenadeball wasn't even my idea originally but some user named tlani from the GTA Content Creator Crew who was inactive and never responded to feedback he submitted the DM for, and made a sloppy original version with weird props that made no sense and pickups just scattered randomly. I simply made a tidied up version afterwards without all the unnecessary stuff and it has really taken off since. No copyrights in GTA...unless you work for R*. So no worries. I actually recently made two new versions "Beach Grenadeball" and "Street Grenadeball" too. I wouldnt mind at all if people co-opt my stuff to try to reinvent it or make their own version of it.
