Timing will be vital for making a clean pass, but with so many corners and wide track for a lot of different race lines around nearly every corner, things are sure to get interesting. Remember, if you take someone out even by mistake, clean racing etiquette is to wait for them to pass before continuing. Really, really enjoy the long format jobs (especially the DMs) as they allow you the luxury to use different tactics and strategies than normal. There's no real need to rush in and try to get some kills before the timer runs out. You can stalk, sneak, hunt or play the waiting game, but the whole time you know someone else is probably doing the same to you. no_snacks 3,345 Posted June 10, 2017 Share Posted June 10, 2017 I was really looking forward to EE this week. At least I got to play a few minutes of each job. I knew I was lagging bad when @Protocawl shot me through the roof from down in the wine trees. My guess is I was standing still near the edge of the roof on his screen. During the race I hit @Fido_le_muet after he crashed on the 1st lap. I'm pretty sure I didn't cause it, but you never know with the lag. On thew 2nd lap I was having a nice battle with @DavidCore89 and Proto. Then the lag kicked in again. Missed the CP because of the crash and didn't realise until 2 minutes later. I heard the race went for over an hour, so I'm pretty stoked I made the decision to bail at that point. Thanks for hosting, @Skorpion. Here's the video of those incidents. I've played them all with other people in the crew that found them so they should be fun. It's looking like only a few of us, so we'll do a few adversary modes as well. Will only be a short PL. If there are enough RSVPs before I put the PL together then I'll replace the adversary modes with combat jobs. Hopefully that'll change in the coming weeks. After missing a few weeks with a series of 50th birthdays, it's now my eldest daughter's 20th, so I'll be out to dinner tonight. Hoping to see a good turnout tonight. Wish I could be there.
