I cannot for the life of me understand why console players still don't have the option to disable this awful motion blur. I can't play rdr2 for more than a couple hours without developing a horrendous migraine behind my eyes. There are no graphical settings that can be changed on console and it absolutely baffles me. Why would you want your players to suffer like this when they're just trying to enjoy your game? I recognize that it's a small minority of people who are affected, but if last of us 2 can bend over backwards to accommodate physically handicapped players I don't understand why the hell Rockstar can't give us an option to disable this eye melting mess. And before you start it is not my display or the frame rate. I marathoned dark souls remastered for 8 hours a day at 30 fps on same ps4 pro with the same television and not an ounce of eye strain or migraine feeling. It makes no sense whatever that this game is now 2 years old and we still don't have to option to turn this garbage off. Console players are a huge market and there's no good reason not to patch in a slider for motion blur and chromatic aberration I am very upset as there is currently no way I will be able to continue playing rdr2

Come and join for a night of Survive the Hunt, where the aim is for the hunted to survive for a whole in-game day (~48 mins) without being shot to death and killed by the Hunters. Starts Wednesday 18th November at 20:00. Meet at the docks. For those that don't know, Survive The Hunt is a free roam game mode created by Youtuber Failrace, where one player is "hunted" by 10-15 other players. There is no radar, HUD or name-tags for any players. This is to avoid cheating and to make the chase as exciting as possible. All players must stay within the city limits at all times. They can only be used on foot. Once destroyed/stuck it cannot be used again. Hunters are not allowed to use any vehicles that cannot drive into Los Santos Customs. IE. If you have to buy the vehicle to be able to use the customs shop it's banned. The Hunted can pick from any naturally spawning vehicles The hunted player may not camp or hide inside buildings, underground areas or in car parks. They can drive through but cannot stop. This weekly event will see a few of us get together on Fortnite for some fun and games whatever your level of ability. Maybe you have found a great new Island Code we can try out? Once we are all in we will play about on some new maps. 3. Everybody will race in the regular Felon (fully upgraded). Pole is decided by 1 question before the start of every race. The one who answers it correctly gets pole position. Questions are random questions about everything (could be about animals, geography, history, science etc. etc.) There will be a total of 8 races, 7 in the Felon and the last race will be a mystery race. We will all gather in my nightclub before the event. After meeting in the nightclub we will start a 'find my car'. The searchers can only use normal cars (no mk2, deluxo etc.) I will hide my own felon somewhere in the city and I will give away some clues slowly (just like Mystery Car). The one who finds my car will always start 3rd on the grid on every race except the mystery race or if he gets the question right. Top 3 of every race will start at the back on the next race. As longest serving current member of the society of VANS, I thought I had better pull my finger out from up my bottom, and actually try and host something for the first time since PS3. As you all know, I'm a skinflint, a tight a*se, a penny pinching bellend! So when I saw that the Raptor was free last week in GTA, and that I was, at the time, playing through Everybody's Gone to The Rapture, an idea was born inside my tiny little mind. We will have a playlist of 8 races to crown king of the Raptors. There will also be 1 stupid daft race at the end just for the lols. At the start of each race, one driver will have the chance to earn themselves a 15 second head start by answering a delightfully evil trivia question from the very depths of CatMan's mind (and also google). The Van Society was founded on May 9 2014 and started off as a small crew of PS3 GTAO players by Retired-Mafia. We are now a well established crew focused on the PS4 for mature gamers who like to approach GTAO from a different angle to most too get the most of the game. Since the beginning of this crew we've been hosting events every week. At this later stage in the games life we are no longer grinding everyday or tearing around in free-roam but still put on an event at least one event every week which is when we all meet up to game together. The next Survive the Hunt Night will be taking place on Saturday 23rd November 2019 at 21:00 GMT/UTC on PS4. We will be running a 70's Cop Show theme... Hunters Hunters to wear brown/tan suits and moustaches (for male characters) and the most 70s hairstyle for female characters. Hunters are to drive a fully modded 60s - 70s muscle car, here are the top 5 according to Broughy that are suitable for the night... 1. Sabre Turbo Custom - 01:06.866 lap time - 121.25 mph top speed - $505 000 2. Impaler - 1:08.436 lap time - 115.5 mph top speed - $331 835 3. Blade - 1:09.269 lap time - 109.75mph top speed - $160 000 4. Tulip - 1:09.572 lap time - 112.75mph top speed - $718 000 5. Dukes - 1:09.636 lap time - 112.5 mph top speed - $62 000 or FREE if you played on PS3 Paint the cars dark blue. If we can't catch the hunted/have less than 10 hunters in the session, we may switch to the Armoured Schafter V12 or Armoured Kuruma again. The Hunted Target to wear overalls and a balaclava. We need the target to be somewhat noticeable, so I suggest a red jumpsuit and yellow balaclava to be more easy to spot. Come and join us on Wednesday 27th November at 20:00 GMT for our MotoGP Race Night. The Van Society are hosting another night of racing using the best GTA Real Life Tracks from FR_Player-One's Real Life Tracks thread and the best from elsewhere on Social Club, this time round we will be racing bikes. We will be running a team format, we will all be racing on the Bati 801 RR and there are 4 different liveries available for this bike. When you sign up you must select a team to race for. The available teams are Sprunk, Redwood, Stronzo and Cerveza Barracho, your livery on the night must match your team choice. Racers are also expected to look the part too, either racing outfits or something that resembles racing leathers. all riders must have helmets enabled too. After meeting up in free roam the first race of the night will be on the Top Gear Test Track, this will be as a test race so we can all make sure we have the correct bike, livery and outfits available and to check we all know how the grid system will work (each team will take it in turns to be at the front of the grid). This race will have no bearing on the final results. From here we will race a number of User Created Jobs all based on real world circuits. We will start the night racing 'contact' but if poor racing etiquette is displayed, or if people start b*tching we will switch to non-contact or kick offending drivers. We expect clean racing on the night (this is not a 'GTA Race' free for all) we all appreciate the tracks created and want to race around them, not play bumper cars. If you like to spin people out, try and squeeze two bikes into a corner that can only fit one or use other bikes as braking barriers do not sign up. Also, there will also be no wheelies during the racing too. We are not looking for a race night where the first person to crack a wheelie after each corner wins the night. The Real Life Tracks night is back after a long break for part IV on Wednesday 18th September at 19:00 UTC (20:00 BST) on PS4! The Van Society are hosting another night of racing using the best GTA Real Life Tracks from FR_Player-One's Real Life Tracks thread and the best from elsewhere on Social Club. We will have a few new creations to add to the Playlist this time around due to the time since the last event. This event will be open to all RSCnet members so sign up and get involved. Meet up and Qualifying We will start with a quick meet up in Los Santos in our cars before the racing begins. The first race of the night will be 'qualifying' on the Top Gear Test Track, this will be run non-contact with drivers vying for the best lap time to get pole and decide grid positions in future races. From here a playlist with contact races of the best Real Life Tracks will be launched. At the start of every race we will re-arrange the grid based on qualifying. Players will also be put into groups of 4, these groups/classes will be based on speed around the Top Gear track and vehicle choice. Please familiarise yourself with this track, your qualifying time here will be crucial on matching your ability and choice of car with drivers of a similar skill level. Curb Boosting Curb boosting is also a big no no. Hitting the curbs/rumble str*p on the racing line (entry/apex/exit of corners) is fine however weaving on the the rumble str*p, surfing the rumble str*p on straights and ignoring the racing line to hit a curb are things we do not want to see, warnings will be handed out for this. See the diagram in the spoiler below for an example. Basic Racing Rules The first corner is crucial, do not attempt crazy overtakes here, just get round it safely. If you are responsible for spinning out another player, wait for them to recover before continuing to race. Do not PIT other racers. Do not ram other racers. Do not dive bomb other racers. Do not bob and weave on straights. No curb boosting unless part of the natural racing line. Failure to adhere to the rules will result in a warning followed by being kicked for repeat offending. Your Car We will run all races in Sports Class and you will race the same car in each race (each player must pick a different car). This will give different racers advantages on some tracks and disadvantages on others. It will also make it a whole lot easier to remember who is who as the night goes on. All cars can be fully modded (no off-road tyres though) and we have banned the most OP cars from the class to even the playing field slightly. Do not be afraid to pick a slower 'personal favourite' car as we will split the racers into groups depending on speed and you will be competing against players of a similar speed in your group as well as the rest of the field. The Pariah, Itali GTO, Neo, Comet SR, Issi Sport and Paragon are all banned. The Locust & Jugular are under review. This leaves the following cars up for grabs...
