Done the missions we have found and caught up with some old skool crew members... JustHatched 12,103 Posted May 20, 2019 Author Share Posted May 20, 2019 I messed with this over the weekend, Poker is fun but really no different than a dedicated poker game, I never expected it to be either cuz it's just poker.... I do like the fact that private poker sessions can be done. The revamp of the challenge system is pretty good, it is very much like to GTA and get bonus for 7,14 and 28 day streaks. The face that you only need to complete 1 challenge of all listed for a day to count for the 7,14,28 day streaks is sweet cuz some of the daily challenges just aren't really possible in some cases. Banketelli 3,655 Posted May 20, 2019 Share Posted May 20, 2019 (edited) Have yet to try poker online. Not really my cup of tea though I'm sure poker nights with the crew would be hilarious. The dynamic events are a great addition. Camp defending and giving strangers a ride are the most common ones but I 've also saved a man from a mugging in St. Denis, and if you go to remote places you can come across some quite interesting ones. The lastest adjustments to the blip system is also a huge plus. Same with the bounty system. Think they finally nailed both. Other than that, I agree. It doesn't really bl*w me away. I'm back into the game and enjoying it so far but I think that has more to due with the 2 month break I took. But at least it's going the right way and I'm hopeful for the update this summer with the addition of the 3 roles we can play as. And fingers crossed for playlist and creator news. djw180 6,833 Posted May 21, 2019 Share Posted May 21, 2019 (edited) I notice that R* social club now has details for your online character; overview, awards etc. I assume this was added with the latest update, but it's not something I was checking regularly. For it's lot easier to see what awards are available from this than doing it in-game. At least one error in it though. So far it has always listed my active horse as "Scrawny Nag", which definitely is not my current horse. LimeGreenLegend 4,173 Posted May 21, 2019 Share Posted May 21, 2019 Been playing loads of poker lately, making a sweet living off of all the bad players out there, must be about a hundred bucks up at this point 😄 Also been doing a few missions and the daily events, usually able to do at least a couple of those.
