San Andreas Rally

This is a series of tracks that can either but run as a playlist or be raced separately.

It's a rally event consisting of 12 stages which will take you around the entire map visiting lots of well known places in the GTA V world.

Most races are point to point but there is a special rally cross lap stage as well. Each stage will take between 4-5 minutes to complete although there is one that's a touch longer. They are mixture of dirt and tarmac courses. If running as a playlist recommend that everyone keeps the same car throughout to keep the rally theme.

I've designed the courses with the Sultan in mind, it's been set to sports class so other rally style cars like the Blista Compact & Futo will also work quite well.

I did a play through of the list and it took around 90 mins to complete by myself so you should allow a little longer for people to finish racing and a little time between each job.

I've reduced it to 12 stages now and have created a playlist just made up of the dirt tracks too.

The idea that the start of each stage begins at the end of the last one. It's best to keep the weather and time settings as current so you can see it change as you go through the rally. Some of the tracks are a little tricky in the wet, one of them is pretty evil even in the dry, I'm expecting a high DNF rate on that one!

Should definitely organize a rally event. All of these stages look great and I'm sure it would please all the PS4 racers of the crew.

Should take about 1h and a half, perfect for a PL :)

This will become an event eventually so will want to submit it for planning then but before I want to see how much interest we have in a rally event. I also would like to know which cars we would want to take part in the event as I will lock the tracks to only those types.

Obviously we have the Sultan as number one choice

The Elegy is also 4 wheeled drive and should be able to handle itself against the Sutlan. It does look the part too.

The Futo looks the part but could be too tail happy for the event.

Do we have any more suggestions? I was thinking 9F or maybe the Feltzer too. The event is about 50/50 tarmac &  dirt so a car that excels on the road could struggle off road.

During the PS3 Sunday's Racing League we've used the Warrener and the Vigero in rally-like circumstances. Both were very enjoyable and the Warrener has some neat customisation options:

I've just found out that you can't lock in the Elegy or Futo along with the Sultan. Would it be safe to leave all Sports types cars on and just trust us as crew members to stick to the pre-arranged types?

After Ronny's successful event I've seen where I can make a few changes to mine. I've reduced the number of stages and have created a smaller play list just made up of the dirt stages. I'll get an event sorted for that very soon.

I will try and run the full rally at some point but will wait for the Rockstar server issues to settle down as I'm thinking of running the whole thing as a team Rally event.
