Lann 10,842
I have a cellphone with a decent 4g connection. Is there a good gadget to use in order to create a wifi that I could hook up my ps4 on. I am asking in order to bring my ps4 on a vacation.
grjkie 727
If it is an android phone I believe you can share your internet, create an access point for the ps to connect to, on iPhone I'm not sure but there may be an app to do that Quote www.ishare4free.com Please don't be offended, it's a small piece of my mind that I chose to expose... Squirrel 5,180
if It's an iPhone you'll have a personal hotspot feature you can use too. Hatch is the best person to ask as that is what he uses to game with.
Torrid 653
You could use the phone as a hotspot as mentioned. I'd check with your cell provider and see if it's an added cost. I can use my phone for one, but I'd have to pay a $5 a month fee to have it activated.
Lann 10,842
It's an android. As you mention it I have used it as a hotspot for a laptop before (pain to configure). I will try and see if the ps4 can use it ok. I am a bit skeptical as how well the connection would work. I figured if I use something else than the phone it might be more reliable. This is how I do all my gaming. No phone means no playing online. JustHatched 12,123
I use about 40-50 a month. I usually game 4 hours a day. Lann 10,842
I use about 40-50 a month. I usually game 4 hours a day. Not bad, about 400mb/h. Gonna have to see what my deal with the provider says as far as limitations on data. Thanks guys!
JustHatched 12,123
It does vary per game. If I play Destiny more in a week it is less than playing GTA for a week. Party chat also draws more data that game chat. Quote The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
