Last night I quick-joined a deathmatch from the in-game phone on PS4 and was put into a user created vehicle deathmatch. In the lobby options, it said 'deathmatch type' - 'vehicle'. It was a Lazer battle and it had room for 12 players, the host was not the creator of the job. I hope it is now possible, I enjoy vehicle deathmatches.
