What would this mean for the future of GTA?

I know I have no respect for Activision based on personal reasons

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Who knows. I don't think they'll touch a single thing regarding R*. And why would they? You have a successful strategy for making billions on a franchise, best not mess with it.

I agree.

It's a gold mine.

I don't think it will happen, Take2 wants to be bigger than anyone, the other guy has had a few issues with their online game. They made over a billion dollars in 3-4 days, and stocks prices are up, I think they should finish the heist updates and grow from there. They have other games in the works.

Every company and every person has their price - if there is money to be made and the offer is on the table, then sometimes the numbers can be too big to refuse.

Read the article. Apparently EA offered 26 per share 6 years ago and they turned them down, it's around 23.5 on market, so I'm guessing Activision witll have to pay way above the market price for this deal to go through.

I don't think anything will happen, probably just some rumours and speculations to move the share price up a bit.
