Cotick20 351 Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 This is annoying and very confusing -- as of now I have two super-duper cars worth over $2mil with all 'the bells and whistles' -- yet as it states in social club records for the past few months the fastest speed I had was by Rapid GT without any extra add-ons at 143.40 MPH. zmurko 7,622 Posted May 19, 2014 Share Posted May 19, 2014 Trying to break the speed record on purpose has never worked for me. :-( I have a simple non-published track without any traffic going around the highway loop and no matter how hard I try, I cant seem to go really fast. I believe it can be done on some fast downhill section or perhaps from a slipstream in a race. I just recenty recorded this top speed and I honestly suspect its the downhill section of my track (The Getaway) from the Land Act Dam to Palomino Freeway as I dont remember racing any fast enough straights with sports cars recently.
