Since i did not play the first game, what type of structures can we expect from this game? Crews, crew vs crew, any other aspects/things than shooting?

I know we cant be sure, but what was in place for the first game?

RDR was mostly about free roam posses of 8 players as far as any kind of "gang/crew" structure goes.

I'm sure the entire crew/posse/whatever system will be quite different in RDR2, though, so way too early to speculate on this. RSC Crews probably became a thing once Max Payne 3 was released a few years after RDR.

When it comes to other aspects besides shooting... I think in the new game they will have horse/carriage racing of some sort again, probably some sort of trading might become a thing (?), captures of some sort will probably make their way back as well, gambling (poker/liar's dice) is likely to return since it was in the first RDR, small "sports" like horseshoe throwing might become available in the online part of the game... That's a guess based mostly from what was in RDR (SP or MP). Anything else is pure speculation at this point.

The idea of crews in RDR was completely different from GTA 5. As Proto said, you could create a posse of 8, and with this group of people you could go to any job you wanted immediately (that means session change was way faster than GTA 5). You could create the posse you wanted (for example, there are 6 players, and if you want to do a gang shootout with player 4 and player 6 as team mates, you could create a posse with them and they would be in your team), but this posse wasn't for always (once you leave the session you won't be in the posse, and you can join another posse or create another one).

Most of the things you have in GTA 5 didn't exist. It is also curious that you couldn't check you KD ratio in the game even though it was based mainly in combat jobs. All the combat jobs had forced+picked up weapons. You could play poker, blackjack and liar's dice with DLCs. Horse races were also included with a DLC, but I couldn't test it. I would also like to see hunting challenges like the first RDR. Combat system will be more or less the same as GTA 5 (as well as combat system of GTA 5 is similar to RDR), but the entire online will be completely different. Battle royale wasn't in the previous game, and everything will be based on money instead of your level (in RDR you had to get new levels so as to get new weapons, horses and characters). Even though you didn't have all the things you have in GTA, I found free roam in RDR more interesting than GTA 5, beause every place is completely different, every city has something different and (this can be surprising) people weren't that wankers. I would keep telling things about this game but I wouldn't finish.

I doubt they would limit possies to 8 this time, but there will probably be ways to create a seperate posse in session, like VIP etc for GTA.

I am looking forward to stuff like gambling, hunting and horse racing then the usual type of death match jobs.  Hopefully there is a nice mix of stuff in there from the start and we don’t have to wait for a poker update or whatever.

I don't think online poker will be a thing for exactly the same reason the casino never happened in GTA Online.

Having the ability to use real world cash for purchasing game cash and then being able to gamble that cash brings in a whole load of other regulations, one of the big problems there is that gambling is illegal in most of the US so there's no way you'll get competitive poker in the online part of the game. Single player would be different but not likely to be a part of RDR Online

Then you just have a separate in-game currency, one which you can't buy with real money, to use in the casinos.  You could have missions for the owners of the casinos to earn it and keep it out of the shark card ecosystem.

Gambling is in poker games already.
