It is situated in the Loire Valley so there are tons of beautiful Renaissance Castles less than an hour away by car. I updated my own post on the previous page to replace Google Pics with my own. The Cathedral, Chenonceaux and Chambord Castle are now my own pics. I'll try to snap shots of the other ones. I would but my hometown isn't gonna win any prizes for being the prettiest. Famous poet, Dylan Thomas once called it "An ugly lovely town". We're not all lucky enough to live in beautiful locations . DavidCore89 7,402 Posted September 29, 2014 Share Posted September 29, 2014 (edited) Here is the view overlooking Swansea Bay, the marina and part of the town on a nice day: Swansea Castle: Oystermouth Castle: Swansea during the Blitz, it was heavily bombed as it was a main shipping port back then: Swansea marina, when the sun is out some people like to pretend they are in Monte Carlo: Welcome to Swansea Airport, this airport has actually just started running commercial flights but only to and from 4 UK cities, it was previously only used for the Wales air ambulance and pilot training: Her Majesty's Prison Swansea, don't drop the soap!! Catherine Zeta Jones' house in hometown Swansea, I doubt Michael Douglas would have had any issues in letting her keep this if they had split for good: At the marina again, I always forget what this statue represents but it sure seems windy where he is! All of these pictures are taken from Google, you can't walk around my town with a camera in hand and expect to not have it stolen from you along with your shoes . If you Google 'Las Vegas, NV', you can see what my city looks like. It's always changing and I haven't been on The Strip in forever. However, I live southwest of The Strip and have some really pretty scenery in my backyard. This is one picture I have of the Las Vegas "Strip" for those who have never seen it. It's not a very good picture since I took it with my S4. This is Red Rock National Canyon. It's not too far from our house. Chicago is about 25 miles away from my house, so its kinda close!...
