The Solanae Hybrid Technologies is a set of five space items that are available from the mission: A Step Between Stars (Deflector, Engines and Shields) and the 4 Year Anniversary Event (Warp Core and Singularity Core). The Warp Core also comes equipped on the Solanae Science Destroyer purchased in the Lobi Store. All items are obtained at Mk XII very rare, the stats shown below are for their fully upgraded Mk XIV Epic versions (singularity core is currently an exception)

Note: these items Mk ranges from II to XII, the stats for the Mk XIV version are shown here. Also this set is the first one to ever allow set bonuses from different Mk items. The bonus scales with the player rank and not the Mk value.

Game Description

This unique Deflector Dish doesn’t conform to the design standards of any known base type seen elsewhere in the galaxy, instead offering an array of unique bonuses.

Equipping this item will grant your ship increased Structural Integrity (Hull Hit Points), Power Insulators (Resistance to Shield and Energy Drain) and Particle Generators (Improved Exotic Damage). The enhanced sensors will also integrate into weapon targeting arrays, offering all weapons a small bonus to Accuracy.

Game Description

Although fairly standard when it comes to basic thrust, these Impulse Engines offer increased Efficiency boosts to both Weapons and Auxiliary Subsystems, providing additional energy if either are currently low.

Additional Solanae circuitry also grants these engines a small chance to redirect incoming energy weapon damage into additional thrust. Each time you are struck with an Energy Weapon, you have a 25% chance to gain +3.5% Turn Rate and +0.52 Flight Speed for 15 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

Game Description

In addition to the standard bonuses associated with a high-capacity Resilient Shield, this shield also reduces incoming energy damage by an additional 10%. The unique addition of Solanae Technology allows this shield to also redirect a portion of incoming Energy Weapon damage directly back at the attacker that fired upon your ship.

Each time you are struck with an Energy Weapon, you have a 1% chance to reflect 33% of incoming energy damage back at the attacker. This effect cannot trigger more than once every 2 seconds.

Special Ability:  Subspace Fold

Activating Subspace Fold, transports the starship approximately 6.66 Light Years forward (only usable in Sector Space).

Game Description

In an attempt to experiment with several different forms of subspace manipulation. One such experiment led to the technology that this Warp Core incorporates, which allows the ship to pass through a localized Subspace Fold, instantly traversing long distances along a forward trajectory, in the blink of an eye.

Overcharged Warp Cores increase maximum Auxiliary power by 5.

Set powers

For each item added after the first, an additional power is available.

Set 2: Cyclical Shield Conduits

Set 3: Structural Integrity Leech

Grants all of your Energy Weapon attacks a 2.5% chance to repair your hull for 100% of the damage they deal.

Set 4: Advanced Metaphasic Shields

Activating Metaphasic Shields grants you extremely high resistant to all forms of incoming damage, while converting some incoming damage into additional shield health. Also grants immunity to Teleportation.

During this time, Weapons and Auxiliarysubsystems go offline and power is rerouted to your shields in order to assist their regeneration. Speed and Turn Rate are also inhibited in this mode.

This ability can be deactivated at will, or otherwise lasts 15 seconds. This ability shares a cooldown timer with Reverse Shield Polarity.

I wish the warp core was available for this. A good defensive setup until I think late in the game when the SOL set becomes available. This set works well for me in PVE I haven't used it in PVP yet.
