  1. Car No. 4 Air Herler Tropos Rallye driven by @mulder The Inaugural Rallye De Paleto will be held this Wednesday 6th January. Where is it? Paleto Bay is a quaint little town in the North of Blaine County, San Andreas. It's Northwest of Paleto Forest and at the foot of Mount Chiliad. It's mixture of great shops and amusements as well as the Procopio Beach making it a great place to visit for the whole family. What is it? Set over 3 gruelling stages totalling more than 35miles the Rallye De Paleto promises to break cars as well as spirits as it winds through the Paleto Forest, Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, Raton Canyon, Cassidy Creek, the Alamo Sea, Mount Josiah and the Grand Señora Desert. It's a multiclass event with cars and drivers from all over the country taking part and racing on the same course at the same time. Cars will be released in pairs at 30 second intervals with the slower cars at the beginning through to the faster cars near the end meaning everyone will converge near the finishing line in the heart of Paleto Bay for an epic finish of each stage. Who is in it? Vapid Retinue MkI driven by @djw180 Although there will be over 50 entries in total we'll be closely following 15 of the entrants, each one in a different type of car. Here are some of the favourites: First off the line: Closely followed by: @Spinnaker1981 and @zmurko Then amongst the middle of the pack @omarcomin71will be driving: and will be starting alongside the 190Z of @DavidCore89 @Mark Verstappenwill be driving: alongside @Protocawldriving for a works team: @Lannwill be in car No. 12 @Pauliehas just announced he will be driving for: He'll be paired up with @CatManDozadriving: And then the last cars leave to chase the rest down including, driven by @Warriors-Ten the debut of: @Beezwill be racing for Redwood: Credit to https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page for the logos and maps. THE SMALL PRINT We're limited to 16 players as it's a transform race to allow us to race multiple classes. We'll have 15 racers each in a different type of car and I'll probably be flying round in a helicopter filming and making people nervous. Full instructions and a very brief tutorial will be given on the night before we start. We'll be racing non contact as the roads are tight, twisty and fairly unforgiving as it is. So don a classic racing suit and an open face helmet (it's 1979 after all) then... Pick a race number and a livery/sponsor from the Entry List above and comment to enter. The event is prioritising VANS, XDBX and SRL for starters but if we struggle to get 16 we'll open it up to anyone else. COMPETITORS: Between each pairing is a gap of 30 seconds at the start until the final 3 cars. The stages have been timed in roughly in each car meaning the faster cars will be catching the slower cars by the end. So anyone in any car who gets a real fast clean run through the stages has a chance of winning. VULCAR NEBULA TURBO: TBD VULCAR FAGALOA: TBD NO 57 BURGER SHOT DECLASSE STALLION: @zmurko NO. 69 WEENY ISSI : @Spinnaker1981 NO. 105 CHERENKOV VODKA RUNE CHEBUREK @omarcomin71 NO. 305 AMIGAS/KARIN PERFORMANCE KARIN 190Z: @DavidCore89 No. 54 LAMPADATI WORKS TEAM MICHELLI GT: @Protocawl NO. 3 CERVEZA BARRACHO UBERMACHT ZION @Mark Verstappen NO. 12 SPENDERS SAVESTRA @Lann VAPID RETINUE MkI @djw180 NO. 83 DUSCHE GOLD RALLY BF CLUB - @Paulie NO. 16 JAKEYS LAGER RETINUE MkII: @CatManDoza NO 1. GLOBE OIL OBEY OMNIS: @Warriors-Ten NO 4 AIR HERLER TROPOS RALLYE: @mulder NO 19 REDWOOD COMET SAFARI: @Beez Finally here is a brief if slightly boring video to show the starting procedure and transform checkpoints although we will go through it on the night. The green traffic lights not the start line change every 30 seconds so everyone lines up in order and then the cars go every time the lights change.

  4. [ UPDATED: DiRT Rally is on sale on the UK/EU PS Store for £11.99 (or the € equivalent) until May 24 & on the US PS Store for $11.99 (or $13.99 for the VR Bundle) until May 22! ] "DiRT Rally is the most authentic, challenging and thrilling rally game ever made, road-tested over 80 million miles by the DiRT community. It captures the essence of what makes rally unique like no other game: that white knuckle feeling of racing on the edge; trying to remain in control of your emotions as you hurtle along dangerous, undulating roads at breakneck speed, aiming to squeeze everything out of your car whilst knowing that one crash could irreparably harm your stage time. It’s the ultimate test of a driver’s skill, and the ultimate in high risk, high reward gameplay. The first time you play DiRT Rally may be a little daunting. Not many drivers finish their first race without a crash, and even fewer will win their first event. The game is designed from the ground up to be an authentic simulation of real world rally. The good news for you is, real world driving techniques are applicable to every section of every stage in the game. A better understanding of rally driving techniques will lead you to become naturally faster as you gain confidence and understanding of the car you are driving and the surfaces that you are driving on. It is much easier to add speed to a good technique." Couldn't have said it better myself. Long story short: DiRT Rallly is probably the best rally racing simulation game out there. Brilliant mechanics and physics, beautiful graphics, great collection of iconic rally cars of past and present, plenty of different locations and game modes. Even the best racers can often make mistakes in rally and that's the beauty of the sport. Available Rally Types: Rally Hillclimb Rallycross Game Modes: Championships (SP career) "Start out at the bottom and work your way to the top of the rally world. Hire a crew chief and engineers to build your competitive edge as you race the most iconic cars from rally history across the rally, hillclimb and rallycross disciplines." Online Events "Take on the DiRT Rally community via Daily, Weekly and Monthly RaceNet challenges to earn in-game currency rewards or take to the track in online multiplayer rallycross races." The online challenges are a great way to try out different vehicles in different locations and in different conditions. Leagues "Get together with friends and run your very own racing league, or join an existing one within the vibrant DiRT Rally community. You can join as many leagues as you like and they are fully customisable all the way down to the weather conditions." This is the mode we could make the most use of on the crew scale, organise crew rally championships. XDBX DiRT Rally League: https://www.dirtgame.com/leagues/league/102999/xdbx-casual Locations: Monaco, Wales, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Greece, England (RX), Norway (RX), USA (Hillclimb) Some iconic cars from the game: Mini Cooper S, Renault Alpine A110, Ford Escort MK II, Lancia Stratos, Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500, Audi Sport quattro Rallye, Peugeot 205 T16 Evo 2, Subaru Impreza 2001, Ford Focus RS Rally 2001, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X, Volkswagen Polo Rally (2010s), Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, Audi Sport quattro S1 PP Some official hints and tips for the game: https://www.dirtgame.com/uk/about#hints_tips The only thing I personally kind of dislike about the game is that you can't drive a specific rally car unless you've purchased it and that process can take a lot of time and trial & error, because earning money is rather slow in the beginning and you don't really know which car suits you best until you've bought them and tried them out. It's a very small issue overall, though. Verdict: DiRT Rally is a must-have for any true rally fan and rally simulation enthusiast, but if you're a casual gamer and/or mainly an arcade racer just looking to try out rally racing for a change, you should look into getting DiRT 4 instead. There is nothing arcade-y about this DiRT game - it's all about simulating the real thing. I'm already running an XDBX league in DiRT Rally, so if you have the game, do let me know! Skill level doesn't matter at all, just looking at having a fun time together! Here's a taste of what the game is like: Rallycross (RX):
  5. Well this game is currently so cheap, 9,99€. Did anyone ever play this game? I’d like to try it because of the licenses and the stages look great. Getting tired of the same stages from dirt rally. Not sure about the handling and all that stuff so if u played this game please leave here your feedback. Thank you.

    Chapar Rally

RSC Link Rallycross track(no joker lap) that runs through the Great Chaparral area. It's a fairly well used area for races, but I've added a few extra off-road sections to try and give it a different feel. Designed for the Rally Sports cars with several other classes also available. Laps run about 1:15, unless your name's Ally Crawford. The first corner was tricky to get the arrows on the checkpoints to show where to go and how sharp the corner is. If anyone has an issue with how the first few CPs are placed, or anything else in the race, just let me know.

    DiRT 4

DiRT 4 came out on PS4 in June 2017 and it's a rally game different from it's predecessor DiRT Rally. It caters more to players not very familiar with rallying or just looking for a casual rally experience (much like what you could find from DiRT 3), but has plenty of different modes and gameplay improvements to make it fun for anyone. [DiRT 4 is on sale on the US PS Store for $14.99 until May 22! DiRT 4 is currently on sale on the UK and EU PS Store for a mere £24 for PS Plus members until 23/11/17 11:59pm] Main features of DiRT 4: There's a choice between Arcade and Simulation handling mechanics and one can easily switch between the two at any time between rally events should they wish to do so. The stage rallies have a feature called "Your Stage" that creates custom rally stages using certain settings and parameters chosen by the player or generated randomly, which means that there's a huge amount of partly similar (stages are made of bits and pieces and the same pieces show up in different parts of different custom stages), but unique rally stages in the game. There's a rich progressive singleplayer career mode, an optional fun trial mode "joyride" (returning from DiRT 3), a fully customisable lobby multiplayer mode "jam session" for all the available rally types, a competitive stage rally MP mode "Pro Tour", daily/weekly/monthly events with leaderboards & big cash rewards, and a solo practice session where you can hone your skills with any car you want. You can also build your own team, pick sponsors, create your team livery and use your personal rally cars in almost every game mode. There's plenty of livery and sponsor options as well as enough space in your garage for over 100 vehicles (after a few upgrades). Loan cars are available for use at all times if you want to try the cars out before you buy a personal one. Earning cash is a much faster process than it is in DiRT Rally, with also more vehicles and team facilities to spend it on. DiRT 4 also has a pretty damn good soundtrack for a rally game. Available Rally Types and Locations: Stage Rally, Historic Rally: Fitzroy, Australia Tarragona, Spain Värmland, Sweden Michigan, USA Powys, Wales Footage: all the outrageous things that can happen in one rally stage: Rallycross: Lydden Hill, England Höljes, Sweden Hell, Norway Montalegre, Portugal Lohéac, France Landrush (stadium truck/buggy racing): California, USA Nevada, USA Baja, Mexico Footage: buggy racing: Landrush vehicles: Speedcar Xtrem (crosscart), Larock 2XR Buggy, Jackson Pro-Truck 2, Jackson Pro-Truck 4 Watch more videos from my DiRT 4 Playlist on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3Mx-66MNeVZ1iE_PCy4V70ZAZeiqYIPw Personally, I love both DiRT 4, which is an immensely fun high-quality rally game, and DiRT Rally, which offers tons of enjoyment through a very authentic rally simulation. I continue to play both and would love to play either with any of you from time to time if you have or decide to get either DiRT game.
