Car No. 4 Air Herler Tropos Rallye driven by @mulder The Inaugural Rallye De Paleto will be held this Wednesday 6th January. Where is it? Paleto Bay is a quaint little town in the North of Blaine County, San Andreas. It's Northwest of Paleto Forest and at the foot of Mount Chiliad. It's mixture of great shops and amusements as well as the Procopio Beach making it a great place to visit for the whole family. What is it? Set over 3 gruelling stages totalling more than 35miles the Rallye De Paleto promises to break cars as well as spirits as it winds through the Paleto Forest, Chiliad Mountain State Wilderness, Raton Canyon, Cassidy Creek, the Alamo Sea, Mount Josiah and the Grand Señora Desert. It's a multiclass event with cars and drivers from all over the country taking part and racing on the same course at the same time. Cars will be released in pairs at 30 second intervals with the slower cars at the beginning through to the faster cars near the end meaning everyone will converge near the finishing line in the heart of Paleto Bay for an epic finish of each stage. Who is in it? Vapid Retinue MkI driven by @djw180 Although there will be over 50 entries in total we'll be closely following 15 of the entrants, each one in a different type of car. THE SMALL PRINT We're limited to 16 players as it's a transform race to allow us to race multiple classes. We'll have 15 racers each in a different type of car and I'll probably be flying round in a helicopter filming and making people nervous. Full instructions and a very brief tutorial will be given on the night before we start. We'll be racing non contact as the roads are tight, twisty and fairly unforgiving as it is. So don a classic racing suit and an open face helmet (it's 1979 after all) then... Pick a race number and a livery/sponsor from the Entry List above and comment to enter. The event is prioritising VANS, XDBX and SRL for starters but if we struggle to get 16 we'll open it up to anyone else. COMPETITORS: Between each pairing is a gap of 30 seconds at the start until the final 3 cars. The stages have been timed in roughly in each car meaning the faster cars will be catching the slower cars by the end. So anyone in any car who gets a real fast clean run through the stages has a chance of winning. The green traffic lights not the start line change every 30 seconds so everyone lines up in order and then the cars go every time the lights change.

RSC Link Nestled in the picturesque Tongva Hills region, just north of LS, Marlowe Valley is home to a bountiful botanical wonderland. So try to not damage any of that local foliage while winding your way through wine country on this circuit combining natural roads and stunt props. Laps run about 90s depending on class. Another race heavily inspired by @MAHALOKA's stunt tracks. Starting on stunt props, transitioning to natural roads, and back around again. Kerb boosting is not recommended on most of the track. The track and land props are slightly uneven, making it difficult to get back on the track from the land props. Defaulted to Supers, but open to most classes. Sports Classics are my personal favourite, though Dunes and Monster Trucks are a close second.

RSC Link A blend of natural roads and stunt props form this rolling race through the Vinewood Hills area. Laps run about three minutes, depending on class. This track is heavily inspired by @MAHALOKA's stunt races, but utilizing some natural roads as well. The wide stunt roads seem fine for contact, but the natural roads might be too cramped and curvy for contact to be well suited. It's my first foray into making a race anything like this, so if there are any issues or suggestions, please let me know. When I started it, the idea was to make a track that didn't allow for kerb boosting, that's the reason for the uneven track and land(?) props. I feel like I went too far with the idea though, and there is too big of a gap at spots and it's unnecessarily difficult to get back onto the track. Might go back and readjust everything if this is a major problem.

Around a 3 minute lap. Video - Can add other cars and classes should anyone require, just leaving it locked for Lann's event. @Lann for sunday. Please give it a test and let me know asap if any changes are required. Think it's better in the custom buffalo but for ease during the event I say we run it stock which it's been locked to. Cheers

Personally think stock compacts and catch up would be the most enjoyable racing wise. Super - Cyclone/Voltic Compacts - Dilettante Also figured i’d add a car from each other class so they can be open for custom cars. Here is a more interesting lap at night in a custom P.Dom. Feedback is always appreciated as i’m bound to have missed a few things.

Snacks pointed out it is similar to default's Seattle track so could be an update for that.

RSC Link Rallycross track(no joker lap) that runs through the Great Chaparral area. It's a fairly well used area for races, but I've added a few extra off-road sections to try and give it a different feel. Designed for the Rally Sports cars with several other classes also available. Laps run about 1:15, unless your name's Ally Crawford. The first corner was tricky to get the arrows on the checkpoints to show where to go and how sharp the corner is. If anyone has an issue with how the first few CPs are placed, or anything else in the race, just let me know.

RSC Link Stunt race locked to the Blazer Aqua. Should be about an equal mix of water and land/track sections. Set to Non-Contact as there are several tight sections that only one vehicle can fit through at a time. It wouldn't be one of my races without a few tricky spots; watch your speed boarding the Octopus and while going under the two piers. Any feedback, especially criticism, is very welcome.

Another compact lap race. They've somehow become one of my favourite car classes as you can pretty much drive them into every street/backyard possible. LESTER'S RUN "After delivering some sensitive hig-tech equipment to Lester, shake the police off your back in your compact by using some unusal routes through East - South Los Santos and collect your payment on your way back. Don't slow down or they'll close on you." I prefer morning time as I find contrast to be greater than at noon which makes checkpoints A bit more visible. I removed some of the car classes and left in compacts, coupes, sedans, SUVs, sports and motorcycles.

PENTHOUSE MICRO OVAL "You own a penthouse, a yacht and a garage full of expensive cars, so what else do you need? Well your own racetrack outside your window of course! Pitlane with health pickups is down in the garage. Now you can invite your friends over and race together." It's a micro oval suitable for clean contact races or banger races. It supports 30 players and all classes. One lap is around 15s long (a bit more for slower classes), default setting is 15 laps. Pitlane with health pickups is available underground, entry is on the inside at the start of the start/finish straight, exit is on the inside at the end of the backstraight. You lose a little over 1 lap when going into the pits, so anyone behind you will be in front of you and 1 lap ahead if you decide to go into the pits. You like pretzels? How about some made from Grapeseed tarmac. All tracks are set by default to non-contact as they all feature a road section with overlapping traffic and 2 of them (Small & Mega) also have sections with opposite traffic, so it could get a bit crowded and messy. There's turns that are featured twice in the same lap in all Pretzel tracks, so I had to compromise on some checkpoints but I think they work pretty well and I personally didnt have any issues following the track. I tried to do some single loops in both clockwise and anti-clockwise direction in different tracks, so I hope they each feel at least a bit different. 2 tracks for Sports and 2 for Supers, though almost any vehicle class is available. Available classes: Compacts, Coupes, Muscle, Sedans, Sports, Sports Classics, Super, SUVs, Off-Road and Motorcycles GRAPESEED'S FIGURE OF 8 "Quick figure of eight on tarmac around Grapeseed farms suitable for almost any class." LAKE VINEWOOD GOKART "City of Los Santos dumped 400.000 tonnes of toxic waste into lake Vinewood, covered it with concrete and built a race track on top. Hop into your go-kart and have some fun. Just remember to wear a gas mask, as the smell from leaking and flammable gases is pretty bad. Now race! Pitlane with health pickups available in GTA mode. It's advised to turn customs off and use the selection of vehicles in available classes." Not a stunt track! Track is meant to be a go-kart circuit by default. Turn customs off and pick off-road class (default) and use the stock Bifta (Dune is also avaliable for some crazy fun and to allow customs if needed). All the other classes are available too for now, until I test if any are unsuitable for the track. There is a pitlane left of the start/finish straight (pretty visible), set to GTA mode (default) to use health pickups. BRADDOCK PASS CIRCUIT "Racing enthusiasts in Grapeseed have always wanted their own permanent racing circuit and since flat land is all used for growing crops, they built one close up in the mountains. Rocks are cheap and no good for anything else anyway. It was still an expensive one, costing $150million, but it was worth every penny, since they even built a massive paddock area for car shows with pitlane included. Now race!" Not a stunt track! All classes available, 1 lap should be around a minute long (give or take a few depending on the class). There's a pitlane entry left of the red tube at the start of the start/finish straight (see photo above) with health pickups available in GTA mode (default). I've tried to secure all dangerous (aka fall off the track) spots, but I've had to leave 1 or 2 not so dangerous ones exposed, as I've ran out of props. There are several tricky spots that may take some respawns to get right. Let me know of any problems you may experience. For those who didn't pay attention in science class, the name of the race comes from an acronym for the colours of the visible spectrum. WARNING: There is a very long vertical tube just after the start that you cannot just drive straight up. You must wallride around the inside of the tube, slowly climbing, until you reach the exit in the white tube.

Definitely not a typical race track. There are several jumps to get onto the tubes and other props, as well as an optional trip through the underground pipes that has a couple tricky bits. If you are unable to get out of the tube system, you need to drive around the inside of the tube over and over, until you reach to opening near the top. There are multiple paths to take, but a clean lap on any path will finish with a comparable time. The race is supposed to be locked to the stock Panto, but the creator is bugged so the Panto and Rhapsody are available to allow for customs to be turned off. The host must turn off custom vehicles before the race, as they are far too fast for the track. Still a work in progress. If anyone has any feedback or ideas for improvements, make sure to post them here.
