Lamborghini Veneno
Mercedes AMG GT
Audi R8 LMS '15
Mazda Miata '15
Hyundai VGT
Aston Martin V12 Vantage GTE
Bugatti VGT

And these are in the trailers but already in GT6 :
Mazda VGT
Alfa Romeo 8C
Mercedes SLS AMG GT3
Audi R18 Ultra

Was doing a little reading on this one. Personally I can't see a single reason to not fixate on this one as my only racing game. I tried the Driveclub demo and it just didn't feel right. I've been disappointed by many racing games, but never the Gran Turismo series.

This game will be 95% competitive online competitions, don't expect it to follow in the GT series that we have grown to love.

GT7 will follow the series, this will not.

This.

GT Sport will be more like a standalone game. Like DC said, it should be more online oriented. Like announced, there will be 2 FIA sanctionned championships attached with the game. One based on countries and one based on manufacturers.

Can't wait to try it out !

That is my concern, but I've also read this is supposed to be the new name for GT7. I always spent most of my time in career racing series.

GT7 will be late next year I think.

Same here, I used to love gathering a huge collection of cars.

GT7 will come after that.

GT Sport feels like a Prologue game. It feels like a test game before the huge car porn fest that GT7 will be.

I think that sticks Sport in the maybe column for me then.

A bit of 'news' on the GT Sport front.

Some leaked concept art from GT Sport show new locations that should appear in the game.

  • Roman Forum at Rome
  • some refinery
  • Monument Valley or somewhere in Utah
  • a hilly valley
  • Kaminarimon in Tokyo

I believe they are Photomode locations but it's still cool.

They also confirm new cars :

  • Lexus RCF
  • what looks like a Jaguar F-Type Coupe

GT Academy champion Lucas Ordonez was also seen driving Autopolis on Gran Turismo which would make it a new track for the GT series.

Scuderia Glickenhaus seemed to confirm their car inclusion in a future GT game.

I read somewhere this game is suppose to be on Playstation VR as well.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

I would find it strange playing GT without a wheel yet I don't know if GT alone is enough to justify investing in a PS4 wheel. My current wheel from the PS3 is gathering dust in a box even though I can use it on the PC. Maybe a big tax rebate may convince me otherwise but I don't see myself getting one as I had quite a hefty one last year.

Looking forward to it.

I hope it's not as clinical as their other titles.

They've got some work to do in order to dethrone Project CARS, that's a serious sim in terms of physics, but missing many key features.

The unveiling wasn't great, was it?

The commentators didn't know what was going on, the "best drivers in the world on GT" couldn't drive around an oval without hitting walls and each other and the game didn't look as good as pCARS. None of those guys would finish a race with damage on, but hey, they're the best

Beta cancelled.

I know it was early footage, but the gameplay didn't look smooth, it still looks clinical and pCARS would pass as real-life way before this would.

Missing a shit load of features that are present in pCARS such as dynamic weather and time of day.

GT fanboys will of course throw their money at it, but IMO a live event and unveiling at the same time for their first current-gen game was a bit suicidal.

I'll stick to the UK game made with fewer resources, even more so when #2 is in development.
