I don't think I have eaten at a McDonalds since the late 90s.  :o

Same for me. I love burgers, but would rather make my own.

I do remember as a teenager I loved their chocolate milk shakes though.

Is this global or just US?

Another thing. If you go anywhere in Europe you can get a Big Mac with a beer. Or a quarter pounder, or even nuggets and beer. When will the UK catch up with this?

Can you get a beer with your burgers in the US? Or do you get a free gun with every happy meal? :D

Mcdonalds would have to get a alcohol license to do it in UK.

Maybe we could start a movement, get some signatures going maybe take to the streets in protest that they dont do it yet :P

I will start the facebook page now lol

Retaliation only takes anger mixed with passion.

Same or I prefer the ones from our local restaurants.  I just can't do mainstream fast food like McDonalds or Burger King.  The closest I get to fast food is Subway on rare occasions.

Nah, they don't serve alcohol in any mainstream fast food restaurants in the US.  You can probably get a 64 oz+ pop (soda) though. :)

Aside from the McGriddle, their breakfast is terrible. Never understood the fascination America has with it.

The McMuffin is more tolerable if you request the folded egg.

Here in the states they are popular because they are cheap and fast. The quality of their food reflects that. Funny thing though,  when I lived in Germany, the McDs food was MUCH better than in the US. I actually wanted to eat there.
