Beez 5,091
Played this last night in the 2/12 The Action Is GO! playlist, it was 4 on 4 and the consensus was to lose the sniper rifles. Once the other team was in position with the sniper rifles they could easily pick off anyone on the other team as they were getting into position from the ladder. I spent most of it lobbing grenades with the launcher from the lower part of the roof, it was difficult to know if I was lobbing them with the correct arc but I was protected and if I kept moving I stayed alive. I probably should have asked if someone would be a spotter. I think a few more plays to figure out a strategy and where to be would help me out. Like if you had your sniper in a safe spot, he could call out to the launcher guy where the grenades were landing. Definitely fun.
Dodge 7,265
Yea, I think the Rifles could go.
zmurko 7,622
Thanks for the feeback. Main idea was to just blow each other up with Grenade launchers from both rooftops. It takes a little practice to figure out the correct angle, but once you have figured that out, you can just randomly bombard the other rooftop. I've put Snipers and RPGs there to add some variety and for those spawning on lower balconies. One aspect of the Snipers was also to try and keep everyone on the rooftops launching grenades and punish anyone brave enough to climb on the top of the roof or make that task as difficult as possible. I wasn't expecintg them to be that powerful really. I'll probably lose them and only keep the RPGs. 2 Quote S U N D A Y R A C I N G L E A G U E
Beez 5,091
What if you switched the sniper to the DLC sniper that you can move & aim with?

Protocawl 2,971
Played this during Banks' PL and I found it certainly fun, tricky (getting your grenades and rockets to hit the targets), but wouldn't say that the snipers were OP, though they are a force to be reckoned with if the shooter is accurate, as always. After all, there are a few places to take cover behind and staying mobile makes it reasonably more difficult for the sniper to hit you. Before losing the rifles altogether, I recommend reducing their spawns to 1 on each tower, IF necessary. Good TDM, proper fun.
zmurko 7,622
Those heavy snipers that were there initially have already been replaced by regular snipers and there's only 2 of them on each side now. With the screen constantly shaking (it should shake if you're playing it right anyway ), it's quite a challenge hitting anything with them. We were actually lacking targets to hit tonight with only 3 on each side. 1 Quote S U N D A Y R A C I N G L E A G U E

They were constant! If it was pretty effective with 3v3 then I can't wait to try it with more people! This should be included in PLs more often
