Summer and fall update.

Haven't played them yet but the Yacht missions are supposed to be stupid easy and at some point the Captain mentions something about a heist. So there is our entirely new location, sorry for those hoping for new maps in a few months.

I believe new maps and stuff are coming but they will be next gen console and PC ONLY. Current consoles will be getting the PS3 treatment as they are getting pretty strained right now.

The standalone Online is when real things will start to happen 🙂

I checked out the DLC and liked the new clothes and just wish there was more but they have to save some stuff for the next Gen i guess. Now I didnt check out the Casino clothing store so perhaps thats where they went all out but I doubt it since I havent heard about them so when i log in later I will check that out. im not ready to spend 3M on a car but will drop $1M on some new penthouse quality artwork. I didnt have time to check out the cars so that will have to wait and yes I plan on dropping $6M+ on those F1 cars cause someone has to keep up with Lann. 

I also had some hands on with the DLC Yacht missions Solo on Hard and i can see why R* havent given us yacht based missions before....riding on the ocean isnt as much fun as the highways but i enjoyed the two i tried. I think Im going to like jumping off my Yacht Volito onto those missions, oh and if you havent yet, DO GET YOURSELF A SCUBA OUTIFT! You will thank me! I know, I know, you have a re-breather, but trust me, when you gotta dive deep, that scuba gear is a must. Another thing i suggest is you take your Lampadati Toro instead of the jetskis cause you can stop the Toro and snipe enemies from a distance.

The off-road Yosemite definitely feels Trophy Truck quick so it'll be interesting to see where that places.

The van once Bennie-fied seems okay, like a more stable Rumpo custom.

The golf Club feels fun, a lot more stable than the Brioso so it'll be interesting to see how that ends up.

Perfectly acceptable if its a version of the Group B Renault 5. That car had insane power for it’s size.

What they should have done is released a road going version of the Club for around $20-30k in cost. Something realistic for a car of it’s size and age and have the slow performance to match. Then give it the option to make it a Bennys style car for the big money if you want the full horse power and class domination.

Can confirm that the Yacht missions are very simple. Go here, do this, done. With a “hey bring that vehicle back to the yacht” thrown in for good measure.

Yeah did two of them with Dodge, Pete, and RRacing last night, I thought they were even more fun with crew as I had done them solo earlier in the day.  We had this happen....

Initially I thought the Captain had stumbled and just fallen off but after watching it closely, I can see that the Captain stumbles right onto the Heli blades! Hahahaha cause of course Dodge's fault.

I know right. Now that I finally mastered driving the d*uchebag. I was rarely beat by randoms on the track Splits with the Brioso...and now its useless. lol.

Also, holy f*ck are the barriers in those races awful. Not even in the classic sh*t sticking out everywhere although that's still true. You can't see anything coming because of those barriers and, unlike actual racing tracks, ain't nobody want to learn R☆'s p*ss any more. [/salt]

Those barriers are my biggest grief with the OWR after trying a few out. Unless you know the track by heart, it's nearly impossible to actually drive fast on them.

They should turn them into OOWR, open open wheel races. 😐

Bought the Beater Dukes thinking (not really) it was a new version/car. So dissapointed, one of the worst purchases ever. I really dont like the look of the Dukes.

Also bought the Stallion as it was free, looked at it and instantly got rid of it.

Also took a good look at the Mamba, its looking a bit meh.. might have to go as well. Same with the Pegassi Zorrusso, that is simply ugly. Will clean up a bit i feel.

I love my beater dukes. The beat down cars were the only thing I liked about my 2 days with GTA IV.
