Something’s up at The Diamond Casino & Resort. Patrons have reported seeing unusual security patrols on the casino floor. Penthouse owners are receiving cryptic text messages from the Cheng Family Holdings. Insiders have spotted unfamiliar blueprints on Agatha Baker’s desk, and visitors to their website are certain the intrusions there can only mean one thing: there’s a crew getting ready to take the whole thing down.

Prepare yourself for the biggest, most audacious, most complex criminal operation ever to hit Los Santos in The Diamond Casino Heist – coming December 12 to GTA Online.

Infiltrating the most extravagant entertainment and luxury living complex in the entire state won’t be easy, and careful and comprehensive preparation will be rewarded to reach one hitherto unattainable goal: breach the vault at The Diamond, grab the goods and exact revenge on the Duggan family.

The Diamond Casino Heist is an all-new approach to Heist architecture and execution: one huge gameplay-packed operation as you work with the Cheng family to infiltrate the most secure building in all of Los Santos. Featuring a diverse range of opportunities for set-up and prep missions that shape your plan of attack, multiple paths of approach, constantly changing security measures and a dizzying array of choices once inside. Expect outcomes for you and your crew to change on the fly as you deal with each new situation, leading to more choices mid-mission. Even if the best laid plans go sideways, you’ll have the opportunity to keep the mission afloat without failing by shooting your way out with your remaining team lives, all allowing the Heist to be highly replayable with new scenarios unfolding each time.

In order to plan the biggest Heist ever perpetrated in Los Santos, Heist crew leaders will setup an unexpected new commercial venture as a front, a retro Arcade business property shrouding the nerve center within where Heist operations are staged and rehearsed. While the business runs above, down below you can practice hacking keypads or cracking vault doors, store equipment and getaway vehicles, and owners of existing businesses can add a Master Control Terminal to handle all current operations.

Stay tuned for more details when The Diamond Casino Heist launches on December 12th.

I would like a Arcade in Vespucci or close to Bennys. I guess a Arcade would work best down by the beach. I hope we get some coupe, sedans and compacts!

That sounds awesome. I always tried to get all my properties near the beach.

No arcades on the beach. I bought the one closest to the beach. 3.3 million for it with updates. Control terminal is almost 2 mil extra.

Master Control Terminal lets us buy and sell for all businesses. RIP Terrorbyte. Also has an optional drone station for friends at around 1.5 mil.

OPP MK2 now has a 5 minute timer so no constant spawns. Read that the rider cannot EWO on it but it must be when attacking because I hopped onto mine and could kill myself.

Looks like I'll be available for hire a lot in the first week or two, I've only got 1.5mil left, so can't probably buy anything yet.

Your hired! :)

12 new arcade games as well. Probably another couple million.

I would like to know what buying extras for the heist setup does. I assume gives you a better payout? Same question for finding all 50 signal blockers to unlock Avi Schwartzman...

I read that if you have the master control center you can do all buy and sell missions in invite only except crates, sell I/E and sell Nightclub goods. No mention in patch notes so it might not be R* intention.

May well be intentional since it is for the Biker businesses that involve terrible delivery vehicles. Lots of complaints about those from the public so hopefully this is the fix.

Can now confirm this is fake news. I’m in an invite session and was promoted to “join a public session to use this computer “

Edit: Just found out that R* made an oops and since it involved players earning lots of easy money they quickly hotfixed it in a few hours.

Some of the set-up missions are truly awful, the lowlight so far: having to get two bits of heist prep from the seabed on the other side of Humane Labs while attacked by infinitely spawning enemy helis. It was for the thermal charges which are mandatory, and doing it solo I was within 30 seconds of failing it for taking too long despite using a Hydra and a Stromberg. If I were to try it again solo I think I would use the Sea Sparrow and equip a personal diving suit before starting the mission. But there are definitely a couple of the preps that are infinitely harder to do solo, if only because of the legwork.

Also so far I've completed the Aggressive approach and failed terribly trying to help Goon do the sneaky approach. The thing that made the most difference was a Lvl 2 pass card. That thing is essential unless you've got the door hacking minigame nailed down or a reliable way to avoid those doors. I do quite like the variety of the heist itself. All the shitty and broken things are just the same old R☆ logic failures, so I look forward to learning all of the work arounds.

I have not done the heist, but have all setups for the sneaky approach done. Never had an issue with the NPCs, all the setups I did were extremely boring, travel somewhere, pick something up, deliver it. The most interesting one was probably the one where you have to go to the morgue to get the security pass.

Me, @Schumi6581 and @Beez did the silent approach, it lasted 20 seconds until we set off the alarm and finally made our getaway in a Prius with a whooping 620k to share. But good fun!

If your cover is blown, let them kill you and then quick restart.

You lose too much money when the cover is blown as your time in the vault is cut by over a minute and you get shot up.

Rev and I had $120K each after it turned into a shootout.

We did the con approach actually and I didn’t have some of the optional preps done but we just went for it. I’ve read up on some of this and some of the ways to do the con approach sound quite good. I’m looking forward to doing the heist in different ways, I think it’s a good update and will be 2X at some point so the payout will be better.

There is an award for stealing all variations of loot from the vault. So far I've stolen all known loot (Cash, gold and artwork) but don't have the award yet. What I've been thinking there is a fourth loot and my guess would be diamonds. If you look at the picture of the award the are dollar signs, gold bars and diamonds in it. And of course you are robbing the Diamond Casino and Resort. I have no idea how to get these 'diamonds' though and I haven't seen anything about it yet. Its all a speculations but I think it would be cool if it is actually true.

Get away and lose the cops.

Make your way to the back of the track. Wait for the cop cars to come to you and steal a cop car.

On the back stretch of the track go south fast. At the southeast corner there is a place you can jump the fence and fly into the "Los Santos River"

Just go into the tunnel where you took the photo of the bared up possible entry and lose the cops.

It's pretty easy with some practice to make the jump.
