@Con I haven’t seen it but I know a musical with a touch of horror.

There’s also Cannibal: The Musical

Its more of a comedy, written and directed by the creators of South Park.

Also, if you’re not usually a fan of musicals, South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut, and Team America: World Police are both musicals that people who don’t like musicals seem to like.

I've updated the OP with the new category, plus a link to last months film thread.

I nominate Bohemian Rhapsody !

Is that out on video/streaming services yet?  If not I don't think we should allow it, just because I don't want people to pay cinema ticket prices for a film they may not like at all.  Also, I wouldn't really call it a musical, it's a biopic about a band, but I love Queen, so if it's available for home viewing we can have it :P

Edit: Just seen it is available on DVD, so it's in :)

Can we nominate several movies ?

I can add La La Land.

You only get one.  Sorry man but it's for my benefit.  I'd be nominating 15 films every month otherwise :D

Yeah I’ll go ahead and choose

Tim Burton’s  Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barbar of Fleet Street.

It looks to be a good revenge story. :)

Little Shop of Horrors.........but not official just yet.

That’s one of my favourites, worth watching just for Bill Murray.

Ok, lets go for the oscar winning and absolutely fantastic story of chicago! I am not a musical fan, but this movie just checks all the boxes: action, comedy, drama, comedy (yes, a lot) and it is one of the best movies I have ever seen...

Please don’t pick Xanadu, it’s actually one of the worst films ever made, and the same cute girl stars in Grease, which May has already picked :D

Hold on, hold on....you are asking me, the punished, not to punish the musical fans? :D  I wish our wrestling musical was out and we could watch that instead. :D Details are in the shoutbox, friend.
