all are well made tracks (new props), suitable for contact-racing, resembling the irl-versions as good as possible in gtao.

i will update this when i find a new track or a better version of those present already. pls feel free to do the same.

when looking for a version where the 'decoration' is more important than the track, have a look through my bookmarks, there might be what you're looking for there.

The RLT creations are not popular with all but IMO great fun for people who want to host real life based racing events without having to leave the comfort zone of GTA.

There is a similar thread on GTAF and there may be a track or two on there you might be interested in http://gtaforums.com/topic/863826-real-life-tracks-recreations-remakes/

I do think quality should prevail of quantity though, maybe split your list or consider grading the jobs? Either way though its a nice resource if it is kept up to date.

cool, cheers, ill have a look at it later, i know fr-player-one, hes a very good creator.

completely agree about the quality. i wanted to make 2lists at first, one for the best 'layouts' and another one for the best 'artistic'impressions.

still have lots of other versions in my bookmarks,  so problaly end up with 2big lists, lol

i also have lots of short tracks, like tsukuba, which i didnt add yet because they're so short.

when i have some more time in the coming weeks i will add new ones and organize the list into 2 or more lists.

idk about grading jobs, its hard to judge, im happy as long as they are of such a quality that i would replay them.. and im pretty picky, lol

Its tough grading them. What would be better? A more faithful route or fitting in with the landscape and looking realistic.

I don't care much for the tracks that are just pieces in the air. I'd rather have a track that deviates from the real course if its blended in with the scenery.

Also track length is important. I notice the Suzuka you have listed was my original 1:1 version. At that scale the track isn't that exciting or challenging. The version I remade for Supercup is about 3/4 of the real size and most of the tracks we are using are at a similar scale. It suits the reduced speed of GTA a lot better.

havent tried the 3/4 version yet. ill do that first thing in the morning ;)

i agree that a track is better when it fits into the landscape, it makes a track nicer to play, especially when doing lots of laps.. but other ppl like the track to be 'as in real life', with less concern about the surroundings. some of the tracks in the list are 'in the air' but still better than other versions ive come around. for example i really dont like it when my car gets airtime on a gp track, and most ppl have no idea how to implement elevation into their tracks, so i ended up with tracks that are not exactly my taste either, but still the best out there. a lot of wiggsplitta's tracks for example are very good remakes, but lack the aesthetics, also they have those silly circular cp's, i did put them in this list because there are simply no other version available (as far as im aware off).

feel free to add any better tracks, or send me links to them, and ill add them ;)

Gotta agree guys, it does seem the more accurate the recreation is the less interesting it is due to the low speed of the cars in GTA. Much like many things in the game I feel the RLT's need to be good looking parodies of their real life counterparts rather than scale reproductions.

@JuniorChubb with regards to the versions of Monza you and Adsy have made. I kind of feel we have a bit of a goldilocks situation. Asdys is too long and yours is a little too small.

Am I being too picky preferring a track sized somewhere between the two?

Chubbs is fine imo, long enough, worked fine in the turismo classic so the comet will be fine there

I'm just thinking in terms of congestion. The car can handle the track but there's going to be a lot of traffic and there wouldn't be much room to move especially with a lot of cars on track
